How it began

At Albar’s Den, our friendly team of staff strive to ensure that all our customers receive a high-end retail experience in the heart of Oakham.

Founded in 2012, Albar's Den is owned by Helen Smith, and is the culmination of her years of experience in the fashion industry, drawing on her passions from her time living in Africa, to latterly  the beautiful Welland Valley in Leicestershire.  Helen has gained a real eye for high-quality products and an enviable talent for knowing how trends may be changing .  Coupled with her ability to quickly and effectively develop a rapport with her clientele, this means that you, our loyal and valued customers, can be assured of the ability to purchase popular items that perfectly fit your needs.

As a small business within Oakham, we pride ourselves on giving both local clientele and visitors alike consistently high quality items available in-store and online.

The Name:

Our name comes from Helens very own horse Albarden whom she acquired 16 years ago as a point to point racer and eventing. He is now enjoying life performing in more low-key events as 23 year old.
